Connor North has recently got himself on Fabric Skateboards, and it is well deserved, he is not just a high pitched little kid kickflipping off massive ledges anymore, he now genuinely has one of the best styles in the North East and you'll see a few post below that he can put out some amazing footage. We recently gave him a lighter and a high 5 for his good efforts and now he is here answering some of those burning questions you all have....

How did you find out that The Jackie wanted you to ride for Fabric?
He was trying to ring me but I was in a lesson so rang him back on the way home and got stoked.

How is Jackie as your TM? Does he burst you if you aren't killing it and putting out footage?
Nah, not really he's pretty chilled to be honest, unless I don't get pictures, then he confiscates my panda pop.

Are you the hot shit in school now that you are almost a proffesional skateboarder? Do the teachers let you go skating and all the girls like your pictures on facebook?

Who did you look up to when you were the littlest Little Connor arriving on the Newcastle skate scene?
All the homies, Busters Weekly Montage blew my lil mind.

You ended up in plenty of BWM, mainly jumping of stuff. Do you think your skating has changed alot since then? Do you still jump of things or do you like to do Fully Flared ledge dancing like you did in Sidewalk years ago?
Yeah skating changed a bit I guess, I tend not to jump of the biggest things in sight anymore as it comes with a painful out come but still a couple of stair tricks feel sick when you land them. You've got to learn to skate ledges I guess living in the Toon, because you're going to make friends with the infamous Bridges in the end ha.

So me and my housemate Nick found cheap flights and went to New York for a quick trip before winter sets in and I become slacker than the Howdon Hotdog.

We stayed in Williamsburg on the same street that Poppolardo had an Off The Grid in. It was pretty much full of hispanic gangs, 24 hour diners and for one week only, the whitest man in the world.

It's all dead arty and that, so has a lot of contemporary work on the walls.

Hit up a hotdog stand as soon as I arrived because I was pretty determined to get food poisoning as soon as possible. Sadly my bowel movements stayed solid and I knew I had to wait for my diarrhea dreams.

First night was Nick's birthday so we hooked up with his mates over here and got pretty loose. Turns out police aren't wild about people drinking on the streets and I got a ticket for having an open container and we're still unsure if I'll be able to get out of the country as I'm meant to appear at New York Court of Criminal Justice on the 9th of December.

On the second day we skated Chelsea Pier and the financial district but I forgot to bring my camera so try and imagine me doing lots of backside 180s and rock fakies and you've got the general idea of the shred.

On the second night all of the galleries and studios have an open house where you can go and see the work and drink free beers.

Turns out you're meant to dress pretty smart for the occasion and we ended up leaving after getting stared out by rich art collectors.

If you ever find yourself in New York go to the High Line. It's pretty much an abandoned trainline they turned into a park. It's really sick and free unlike 90% of other tourist things.

We went to a greasy diner where 90% of the other customers had gang tattoos on their hands. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and paid $12.50 for a huge disapointment. Even more disapointing was that my bowel movements stayed fine afterwards.

So I ended another night getting too drunk and attempting to dance with a dog. This ended up with bite marks on my hand and the horrible feeling when you're rejected by an animal.

So the next night we chilled in the day because it was pissing it down then went over to the house of some of the local skaters. I ended up vomiting in their bathroom in the attempt to sober myself up but still managed to pass out on the Subway home.

I got really hyped on Zoo York mixtape before coming to New York and had my own Harold Hunter tribute and kept fried chicken in a napkin in my pocket. Due to the amount of whitey I had to give it away but Nick kept the dream alive.

We got up surprisingly early despite suffering from the worst hangover ever and very little sleep. We cruised across to LES skatepark which you might know from NY Manny Mania and the Harold Hunter Jams.

This years Slam 1 in a Million was there and they were dropping bombs down the double set, we watched for a bit but it they'd drawn a crowd of about 500 hundred kids hoping to get in the background of the footage.

After leaving LES we went on the hunt for food. Rusty is a connoisseur of eating for cheap and took us to a $1 dumpling shop in China Town.

As soon as I ordered the food I knew I'd found my match, a minute after eating the greasy dumplings my stomach started to gurgle and we had to have a time out from the shred while I destroyed a public restroom.

We headed to the Financial district via Brooklyn Banks so I could get a self indulgent photo. Pretty gutted it was blocked off but hopefully we'll return when it's finished.

We bombed through the streets on the way to Financial. The streets here are so smooth and cars don't mind you much so skating's a pretty quick way to get around, I did manage to nearly get ran over about 6 times but everyone else was paying enough attention that it wasn't a problem.

We wanted to skate Wallstreet but some hippies had decided to sit all over the plaza we were going to skate in an attempt to make the whole area smell of body odour. Some old woman got her boobs out and 90% of the protesters decided that maybe it was time to leave rather than being associated with someone who looked like they were made out of the same skin as a scrotum.

Rusty was psyched on her being topless so decided to dedicate the day to her and not wear a tshirt. I would have joined in but American women go wild for my lack of muscles and pale skin colour and I just wanted one day where I didn't have to fight off women.

So I filmed a very brief little montage because I was having too much fun skating street which is a fucking rarity for me.

Cheers to Ali and Leighton for letting me get drunk in their apartment and make a massive mess. Anders, Rusty, Kevin for taking us round and listening to my incessant questions about things I'd seen in videos. And everyone else who had to deal with my drunken craic.

Woke up feeling like P Diddy.

So today was nice and I decided that I'd take a break from my abusive regime of masturbation to go skateboarding. The crew was the usual suspects with the added excitement of Sheffield local and Fabric rider, Shaun Curry.

So the whole Fabric team is up this weekend so they can all become best friends and that. We took Shaun to Pilgrim Roof and told him he couldn't be in our gang until he did a NBD down it, got to keep it underwraps but Fabric's next edit will be pretty rad.

Whenever I go away I forget how good Jamie is, he dropped a pretty sick banger second go down Pilgrim 8.

Wizzley turned 16 last week and feels he's out grown the nickname Little Will, from now on he wants to be referred to with a man's name so next time you see him, only refer to him as Bill.

Bill got pretty tired because he's been staying up dead late listening to Ke$ha whilst fingerbanging girls at parties so he had a quick powernap.

This spot is fucking rad, one of the tricks which went down made my body give myself a vasectomy it was so sick. Stitt also did a classic front 360 Stitt and completely burst himself, luckily his face was alright cos he's making loot of being a male model. Apparently the borderline retarded look is hot this summer.

Josh is big time now, he's filming in HD and shit. Obviously with the big bucks comes the bitches. He pointed out a few prime spots he likes to tash on with lasses when he's out filming.

After sitting in smack needles and used womens underwear we decided to skate somewhere else.

On the way to Gap to Bench, Bill spied a group of lasses he'd finger banged the night before, now he's a big boy he's all about tashing on with as many lasses as possible.

Jamie and Shaun had put down some pretty sick hammers and have a weekend of skating to get done so decided to retire from the shred. Expect hammers this weekend.

Nothing can stop Bill from shredding, k grind up some real street.

Johnny arrived in time to photograph the shred to a higher standard than my spastic like attempts. Safe to assume anything that is well taken is by Johnny.

Bish is the ultimate wingman, he was shooting preview photos so Bill doesn't even need to worry about working which girl to fingerbang when he's on the lash. He prefers a mature woman because like a fine wine they've been well seasoned.

Freshly released into the single life, Hopper has been hitting it hard and has the gun show locked and loaded.

Someone order a Blind Johnny Sexagram, nothing says "I love you" like a furry photographer on your doorstep.

We then went to the lesser skated Harry Bastard banks. Stitt dropped some pretty sick hammers, Josh was pretty impressed....

He was less than impressed with the state of Stitt's hat.

One of the things which makes the Newcastle scene so unique is how professional everyone is. Not just in skateboarding, whatever they do, they're killing it. Stitt being the next Kate Moss was ready to drop some impromptu modeling down so we could all learn how to really get that sexy smoldering look.

I was not present for this wallride so I don't have any smart arse remarks but it's pretty ludicrous.
